Together our nursing team has almost 200 years of experience.
We are the best of the best and have a true passion for what we do.
It has been an honor to personally support thousands of Central Florida families as a Registered Nurse, Lactation Consultant, and provider of general postpartum and night nursing services for over two decades.
As part of my vision to help moms through their breastfeeding journey, I established Orlando Lactation in 2021. Since then, my company has grown to include an entire staff of skilled nurses and additional newborn services. This growth marked a significant expansion to our offerings and to our name: Orlando Lactation & Newborn Services. Further expansion and continued growth will help make my vision for Orlando Lactation & Newborn Services a reality as we become the premier provider of perinatal care.
Our core team is made up of five moms who care deeply about supporting others on their journey into motherhood. We’ve all experienced the challenges firsthand, which is what drives our belief that sometimes moms need help from professionals. From bedside nursing to lactation and doula training, from office administration to insurance billing - we combine our skills and unwavering passion to serve you.
Rachel was born and raised right here in Central Florida. After earning her Nursing degree from UCF, Rachel worked on a medical-surgical unit. During that time, she welcomed her first child, which sparked a calling to support mothers and infants more directly. She became a Mother–Baby Nurse and Lactation Consultant, a role in which she has found deep fulfillment.
What Rachel loves most about her work is walking alongside women as they transition into motherhood, offering guidance and support, and watching their confidence as a mom grow. As a mother of three herself,
Rachel combines her clinical experience with a personal understanding of the joys and
challenges of early motherhood. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, and being in nature.
Jessica was born abroad but has lived in the States since she was 5. Having five younger siblings she helped care for and a passion for biology, Jess knew she would proudly hold the title of Nurse one day and was happy to model for her siblings what it takes to go to college and earn a degree. Since graduating nursing school in 2010, Jessica has worked in a variety of specialties – but her passion lies with the mother-baby dyad, specifically breastfeeding support. This led her to become a Lactation Consultant and join our team under Kristen’s mentorship.
Jessica loves being someone families can lean on during their most vulnerable times, helping them with education, comfort, and empathy. “Nothing beats the feeling when a baby looks up at mom, skin-to-skin, and I love to assist with these memories.” In her free time, you’ll probably find Jessica cooking and watching her kids play outside. She also enjoys roller skating, theme parks, swimming, gardening, learning to make bread, and being involved at her church.
Alyssa is a creative marketer, designer, and brand strategist with a heart for meaningful connection. She is a proud 2nd-generation Florida native and has called the state home her entire life. Her career in marketing began with a love for art. As she explored design, she discovered a passion for the strategy and storytelling that make marketing so powerful. After becoming a mother, Alyssa felt a strong desire to use her skills for good and create work that leaves a lasting impact. She loves helping small businesses connect with others in meaningful ways – supporting mission-driven brands through thoughtful marketing is what fuels her creativity.
Alyssa enjoys life on her three-acre property in St. Cloud with her husband, two kids, their dog Darla, a flock of chickens, and their beloved 29-year-old rescue horse, Tony. When she isn’t working or momming it up, you can find her reading a book, sipping a strong cup of coffee, or dreaming about her next tropical getaway.
Tracy has lived in Central Florida nearly all her life. Following a long career in office administration, she realized her true calling in 2020: birth work. She became a Certified Birth Doula and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist and finds great purpose in supporting women throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journeys. She truly believes in the art of ‘mothering the mother’ and loves to remind women of their power and their options.
Tracy is a mom of two – a grown son at UCF Film School and a firecracker daughter who came 12 years later. In her spare time, you can usually find her in the kitchen cooking up healthy meals, making sourdough bread, and preparing natural medicines like her homemade organic elderberry syrup. Tracy also loves music, yoga,
getting out in nature, spending time with her family, and volunteering in her community.
From a very young age, Julie knew she wanted to be a nurse. She is the oldest of four children to a widowed Puerto Rican mom who worked very hard to ensure her children would be able to go to college. Julie has lived in Florida for more than 30 years, where she entered nursing school at just 19 years old. Her biggest joy as a nurse was the time she spent at a local
hospital working in the nursery and postpartum unit for many years, and eventually becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Taking a step away from her nursing career, Julie successfully co-managed a local healthcare business in Lake Nona. It was within this opportunity that she gained a wealth of knowledge in the areas of insurance and medical coding and grew an extensive business mindset. When she’s not working, Julie enjoys being part of faith-based groups that refresh her soul and going on long walks/hiking with her dog Chewie. She has two grown daughters and a teenage son who are her pride and joy.
Jillian was born in a small town in North Carolina but moved to Orlando at a young age. Finding a sense of calm in daily life is important to her, and she has always gravitated towards helping people, especially moms. It seemed natural to combine the two and focus on helping moms recenter in a time of massive change.
In her yoga practice, Jillian strives to foster a warm and safe environment for people to let go of stress and truly breathe. She feels immense gratitude for being able to guide parents and their babies into pockets of peace, both in-studio and with techniques to use at home.
Outside of the studio, you can find Jillian reading, writing, painting, or picking up random creative hobbies. If she's not at home, she's probably out dancing with her cousins or wandering around Disney with her bestie.

"I cannot sing Kristen's praises enough. She also has a great team on hand for additional services like night nursing. The sleep consultant came to help us one night and it was so nice to have someone so competent (NICU nurse) to tend to her as we had a scare in the hospital and felt we couldn’t leave her with someone without medical training for a few weeks. 10/10 you absolutely need Kristen in your life."
" We are so thankful for Kristen and her team. We will always be grateful for their support as new parents navigating several challenges the first few months with our son. We can't recommend them enough and feel it has been one of the best investments we could have made."
