Ami’s family is originally from India, but Ami was born and raised here in Orlando. She always loved helping others and knew nursing would fulfill that need. After going through a difficult pregnancy and having a preterm newborn, Ami realized the field of nursing she was meant for was newborn nursery.

She loves nurturing newborns and helping parents learn and grow together. When she isn’t working, you can find Ami gardening, doing DIY projects and planning her next vacation.

Caroline was born and raised in Winter Park. She pursued a career in nursing because of her love of science and her innate ability to care for others. Her passion for working with babies led her to specialize in the Mother/Baby unit where she finds great fulfillment in offering support to new families.

It is her happy and holy privilege to extend this care by being invited into a family’s home to care for their precious newborns! When she isn’t doing this, you can find Caroline exploring nature and honoring her deep appreciation for the outdoors. She also loves to shop, play pickle ball, and enjoy a good meal with friends and family.

Kim was born and raised in Central Florida. She has always loved caring for others and couldn’t picture herself doing anything but nursing.

She has loved babies since she was a young girl and has a passion for caring for moms and their precious little ones.

 This job allows her to do both and is very rewarding. Having 5 kids of her own keeps Kim on her toes! She loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and watching movies and shows.

Maria is originally from Gainesville and came to Orlando in 2010 to attend nursing school at UCF. She grew up always wanting to help others and felt that nursing was her calling. Her favorite thing about this work is the one-on-one time with the families, getting to know them and their babies over the course of her time in their homes.

Maria loves having the unique position of being there to encourage family bonding, successful breastfeeding and maternal self-care. She loves all things Disney, crafting, reading & adventures with her husband and their dog, Finley!

Jennifer was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Orlando in 2015 to escape the cold winters and be closer to Disney. As a young teen, she watched the nurses in the ICU care for her dad following a heart attack and knew nursing was her calling. She absolutely loves caring for mommas and their babies, and as such her entire 20+ year nursing career has been in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and NICU.

She loves teaching and educating parents about their newborns. Jennifer loves to travel and see new places; her love for Disney has taken her around the world with Disney cruises being one of her most favorite things to do!

Juliana was born and raised in Orlando. From a young age she knew she wanted to help people by working in healthcare. While applying for colleges, she learned about neonatal nursing and knew that was the path for her.

After earning her BSN, Juliana got her first job in the NICU and has loved every second. Getting to help babies grow stronger until they’re ready to go home is so rewarding; she feels lucky to be even a small part of their story.

On her days off, Juliana and her husband enjoy working on house projects, trying new foodie spots around town, seeing movies and going to theme parks. They also love hanging out with their two big dogs - you can often find them out in the backyard or on hikes.

Angela has lived in Central Florida since she was 5, after her parents moved here from Kentucky. Growing up with a sickly brother who was in and out of hospitals as a child instilled in her the desire to help others.

As a NICU nurse, Angela loves working with families and watching their tiniest miracles grow and get to go home. When she’s not working, she loves to read and spend time with her family.

Sabrina is from New York City and came to Orlando in 2022. She was led to a career in nursing because of her desire to care for others in a greater capacity. She loves being able to educate parents and support them during such an important moment in their lives.

When she isn’t working, you’ll find Sabrina spending time with her husband while watching tv and doing house work. They are homebodies too!

Kayla grew up in Davie, FL and moved to Orlando in 2017 after graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University; she has always loved Orlando! Science was always her favorite subject in school, so it was that combined with her passion for taking care of people and making a difference that led Kayla to nursing.

She loves meeting families and caring for their sweet little ones - she finds it so rewarding to see them grow and to be a part of this chapter in their lives. Kayla plays in a local adult kickball league, enjoys the beach, taking fitness classes and spending time with loved ones.

Lauren is originally from Kentucky and moved to Tampa as a kid, then came to Orlando for college in 2011 (GO KNIGHTS!) and has stayed put ever since.

Her career in nursing began with a love for people and a passion to see them healed with more than just medicine. She even took healthcare electives in high school! Lauren welcomes the opportunity to meet patients where they are, sharing her experiences, expertise and compassion - especially within women’s health and newborn care.

She loves spending time with her two beautiful children and spectacular husband, being part of her church community, grabbing coffee with friends, reading, trying new restaurants and learning to crochet!

Jerilyn is from South Florida and came to Orlando in 2013 to attend UCF - she’s been in love with the school and city ever since. She was a UCF student when the tragedy occurred at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub. Experiencing its impact firsthand changed her perspective and inspired her to pursue nursing as a way to support others during difficult moments.

What she enjoys most is advocating for patients and ensuring they feel heard throughout their care. Jerilyn loves to travel and stay active by playing tennis and rowing, plus spending time with family and friends and taking care of her fur baby, Phoebe.

Marissa and her family moved to Florida after Hurricane Hugo destroyed their home in St Croix in the US Virgin Islands where she was born. She originally thought she would be a veterinarian, and when that didn’t work out she felt lost for many years. It was Marissa’s mom who convinced her to consider nursing, and she’s thankful for that changed path because she knows she is where she’s meant to be. She loves cuddling sweet babies and knowing she’s helping parents feel comfortable and rested so they can be the best version of themselves.

Marissa is almost always working! But when she’s not, she is obsessed with her ‘Forever Dancer’ family at the Dr. Phillips YMCA. She is a proud mom to a son, daughter, and two dogs and two cats, who all keep her busy and happy.

Stacey was born in New Jersey but moved to Florida around age 3 and considers herself a Florida girl at heart! She was in search of a career that offered fulfillment, connection with others and flexibility, and within nursing she found countless options.

She especially loves the Mother/ Baby unit and getting to be part of the most transformative time in a family’s life. She enjoys providing education to patients, being someone they can count on and witnessing the growth in the families she cares for.

Outside of work Stacey likes to stay active with sports or the gym, painting, cooking, and she’s always up for adventures near and far!

Shelby was born in Orlando and grew up in Mt. Dora, and although she’s moved away a few times she always ends up back here in Orlando because it feels like home. The desire to help people is what led her to a nursing career - she values being a source of comfort for families in a new or difficult but incredible and exciting time in their lives. Her favorite part of her role is helping to make the newborn experience more pleasant for moms and dads so they can enjoy their precious babies!

In her time off, Shelby spends as much time as possible snuggling her own newborn baby girl! She also likes watching funny or scary movies with her fiancé, trying new restaurants with friends and traveling any chance she gets.

Sammie is a South Florida native who moved from Hollywood to Orlando in 2019 to complete her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and nursing. She quickly fell in love with nursing because she’s always had a big heart for helping others. What she loves most about what she does is being there for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments and helping them feel supported, cared for and comfortable.

On her days off you can usually find Sammie at Disney, soaking up the sun at the beach, or taking a pilates class!

Sofia is originally from Montevideo, Uruguay and came to the United States at the age of two, growing up in Hollywood, FL and then moving to Orlando to study nursing at UCF. She was led down this path because of her grandmother who became ill with Alzheimer's and sadly passed only a couple years after the diagnosis. Being able to care for her is what helped Sofia’s love and devotion to the healthcare field flourish. She strives to form a bond with families she cares for to help them feel supported throughout their newborn journey no matter what it looks like.

 Sofia stays busy when she is not working by scrapbooking, taking pilates classes and seeing her friends and family who are dear to her.

Nicky has lived in Florida since she was 5 and grew up in the Kissimmee area. She has wanted to be a nurse as long as she can remember. She enjoyed working in Labor and Delivery and now loves caring for newborns and supporting NICU families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Nicky LOVES to read and admits to being a total homebody, but what really keeps her busy is her daughter’s dance commitments.

Maria was born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami since the age of 3. Her mom wanted the ‘American dream’ for her and her sisters and restarted her life for them, which is something Maria feels forever grateful for!

In 2021 she moved to Orlando for nursing school and has been here ever since. She has always had a passion for taking care of others and becoming a NICU nurse has been the most rewarding thing she’s been called to do.

Maria says she loves being able to make a meaningful difference with families during their most vulnerable moments while advocating for the tiniest patients. When not working, Maria enjoys staying active by doing pilates, running errands, or just being at home with her golden retriever and a good book!

Jelissa is from Belize originally and moved to Orlando from WA state in 2025 to be closer to family after the birth of her daughter. She has always loved helping people and nurses played a big part in her childhood.

Jelissa admires how versatile nursing is because she herself is ever-changing, and this versatility allowed her to find her passion in caring for women and children specifically. She loves supporting new moms with compassion during the most fragile time in their lives. When she isn’t working, you can find Jelissa reading a book, exploring nature or dancing to Caribbean music such as reggae or soca. She enjoys sharing these things with her daughter and showing her how beautiful life is!

April is originally from Somerset, PA. After leaving the Navy she decided to attend nursing school in Northern Virginia, and then made her way to Florida. She became a nurse because she is passionate about advocating for patients and knew she could make a difference for those in vulnerable situations. She loves the combination of medicine and nurturing! April has been a NICU and Lactation Nurse since 2023 and absolutely loves working with newborns and parents and being part of their village.

She has a young daughter who keeps her busy and brings her so much joy. She enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, going on walks, and lifting weights. April also loves learning–you can usually catch her studying for a new certification or staying up-to-date on new research!
